A substantial amount of the New York State tax practice is devoted New York State tax litigation, commencing with taxpayer representataion in conciliation conferences before the Bureau of Conciliation and Mediation Services, to administrative appeals before the Division of Tax Appeals, to appeals before the Tax Appeals Tribunal, to Article 78 review of decisions of the Tax Appeals Tribunal, and finally to appeals before the New York State Court of Appeals.
Mr. Silverman also represents taxpayers involved in sales, income and franchise tax audits. The law office also maintains an estate administration practice which includes probate of Wills and administration of estates.
