He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, and is licensed to practice in all New York State Courts. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and to the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Silverman is an active member of the American Bar Association and its Section of Taxation, where he has been an Associate Editor of the Taxation Newsletter since 1993, in which capacity he is also a regular contributor. He is also an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Section of Taxation.
